How It All Began

Before grooming became my career, I was working in web design — something totally different. But it was my Cocker Spaniel, Jacob, who changed everything.

When I started my City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in dog grooming, Jacob came to college with me every day. He was my lunchtime buddy, my walking companion — and eventually, my grooming model.

After a nudge from a career advisor during a year out, I took the leap and started my own grooming business — and that’s how Sarah’s Pawz was born. Jacob was by my side through it all.

It all started with one scruffy Spaniel… and a lot of love.
